Born and raised in Olympia, WA, I graduated with honors from the University of Washington School of Law in 1980.I worked at two different law firms, one in Port Angeles, WA, and the other in Olympia, WA, in which I learned from more experienced attorneys. I then opened my own law practice, which I owned and operated for 17 years, with a focus on estate planning, probate, and guardianships. I then took a break to focus on family matters. I returned to the legal field in 2022, driven by my belief that estate planning profoundly impacts people's lives and hearts.
Joining the Personal Family Lawyer® program (PFL) marked a pivotal step in my legal journey. As a certified PFL member, I craft comprehensive estate plans tailored to facilitate the smooth transfer of family wealth, encompassing intellectual, spiritual, and financial assets. My practice is rooted in ethical principles and a commitment to providing a supportive environment for my clients.
I am dedicated to providing free educational events throughout our community to help people understand why estate planning is essential for all families. Outside of my practice, I enjoy supporting the arts, attending live music performances, and spending time with my husband, Steve, our two adult children, and our five grandchildren—including a set of triplets. My family is my greatest joy and inspiration, reminding me every day why helping others protect what they love most truly matters.
In my spare time, I support the arts by attending live music performances and cherish moments with my family—my husband Steve, two adult children, and five grandchildren, including three who are triplets! As a voracious reader, I am currently writing my first book, which chronicles my experiences as a lawyer, adoptive mother, and related spirituality.
